Glycolic Polymer Concentrate

Glycolic Polymer Concentrate

Directions For Use

Use hand-held fan or set-up an electric fan. Apply appropriate strength concentrate with a fan brush. Application of the concentrate will sting slightly. After 1-2 minutes of application, turn the steamer on so that it will be ready after removing the concentrate. Remove with cool water mixed with baking soda. Rinse thoroughly.

This product contains AHA - sun block strongly recommended

20% Strength - For the professional using glycolic acid peels for the first time, this is a good “practice” strength. When performing a glycolic peel on a new client, always begin with the 20% in order to evaluate the skin’s reaction to glycolic acid. For most, the treatment strength will gradually increase with the exception of sensitive, thin and couperose skin.

35% Strength - Most clients will graduate to this strength after two to three peels at 20% and will respond well. Initial application time is only 1-2 minutes, increasing gradually with each treatment to a maximum of approximately 5 minutes. The skin does not actually “peel” but there may be some “flaking” in the beginning. Visual evidence of wrinkle reduction can take as few as six treatments or as many as 18, depending on many factors of the client’s physiology.

50% Strength - Many of the clients will graduate to the 50% strength after four or five treatments at 35%. If the skin shows no overt irritation at 5 minutes with 35%, move to treatments of 50%. Leave on 1 to 2 minutes only. Increasing treatment time may gradually increase as the skin will allow. The 50% strength is NEVER a beginning treatment strength for the face. For peeling on the body, the 50% Glycolic is most effective for acne reduction and general firming. Reduction of stretch marks and scars is possible with an aggressive program using the 50% Glycolic and Epidermal Growth Factor Cream.

NOTE: The 35% and 50% strength Glycolic Peels require the use of Regenerative Products to assist the skin in the healing process.
